Miss Lily is a sweet young adult cat who had kittens in a back yard. We don't know who she used to belong to, but clearly she was someone's pet. Luckily she was brought inside by a caring human and able to care for her kittens and relax without worrying where her next meal would come from. She's a sweet girl who loves being petted and snuggled. She's a great eater and a clean girl. She's looking forward to being able to be playful and run around like the young cat she is in her own home. Lily would prefer to be the only cat in the home.

Miss Lily has a mild non-contagious medical condition, indolent ulcer (Latin, "without pain") that exhibits every now and then with a swollen lip. We haven't been able to pinpoint the cause for Lily yet, but it is caused by an allergic reaction to something, often fleas, but Lily doesn't have fleas so possibly something environmental or dietary. Fortunately this condition even in a flare up is not uncomfortable for a cat -- they can eat, drink and play at will. Our rescue vet has administered Depo Medrol to Lily when she has a flare up at $8, and that clears her up.
