MAMA

Mama is 2 years old.   She and about 50 other cats were thrown outside to fend for themselves when their owners abandoned them. When help arrived, she and 2 other adult cats, and 4 kittens were in a box in the driveway . She was the mother of 3 of the 4 kittens but took on the role of the nursing mother for the 4th. Mama was very malnourished and sick when she came into rescue. It took some time for her to gain some weight and get her hair back to as gorgeous as it is right now. She is a bit shy and it will take some time for her to open up. She enjoys the company of other cats once she knows they aren’t going to hurt her. Mama is great with “Lovey and Ghost” if you are interested in adopting more than one cat. They are the ones that were found with her in the box. Mama is very playful and loves to run from room to room playing. She like toys, laser light chasing, and climbing. She is still learning to trust people but when she lets you in she will purr and rub against you. She is good with well mannered dogs or kids.
