Calcifer is a shy girl who just needs to be given the chance to love and be loved. Hold her, love on her. She will learn to trust you and know what she is safe. Once you get past that little barrier, she is a love. She will be quick to give purrs at that point and wet food is an excellent way to 'suck up to' her.

She should do best in a home with at least one other cat or with people where she is rarely alone.
