Miss "Salad" is a sweet and sometimes shy petite female who is just 1 year old. She's got a sleek black coat and huge round yellow/green eyes. She came from a hoarding situation where she was under-socialized which is why she's now uncertain in new situations. She's gentle even when she's scared. When she first arrived at my house, she preferred to hide behind the toilet, but when I reached back there to pet her, she immediately pushed her back up into my hand and also allowed me to pull her out from behind there to pet her and she enjoyed the attention. Once she got comfortable in the bathroom and would come out every time and greet me when I visited her, then I moved her into the master bedroom where she once again found a place to hide behind my computer monitor so she felt safe. It took about 2-3 days of me reaching behind there and petting her for her to come out and start checking out the bedroom. This time it was quicker for her to get comfortable and now she leapson the bathroom counter in the mornings in anticipation of her soft food breakfast. She's still uncertain when anyone new comes into the room, but she's getting better every day.  She loves being pet and held, even when her hackles are up when she sees a dog out the window :) She's very sweet and affectionate once she knows you. She's clean and an easy eater and she's tiny, only 6 lbs.
