This sweet boy was taken from a rough situation and d'Artagnan's personality shows it. He was bullied by other cats both outdoors and indoors when he was brought inside to give him a better chance. While he doesn't react poorly to other cats, he can be afraid at first and will need a slow, patient introduction. At first we weren't sure if he would be okay as a solo cat and it really looks like he is much more confident with a friend to lean on. He has also put up with the foster's 85lb dog, a husky/mix, being curious about him but still very shy and uncertain.

He had a rough start to life, coming from a hoarding situation, and definitely has it in him to be a love bug once he realizes that he is safe and cared for. Dart did really well at an adoption event and let his foster mama hold him and carry him around for a bit and he's done amazingly well in the adoption center. Still shy, of course, but he hasn't been huddling in terror! It has been great to watch him come out of his shell.
